Non-goals
Explicit exclusions that keep VidSEO from being misread as an AI generation or ranking-guarantee system.
VidSEO has a deliberately narrow scope.
VidSEO is not
- an AI transcription engine,
- a summarization engine,
- a rewrite engine,
- a fact-checking engine,
- an authority certification layer,
- a ranking guarantee system,
- a citation guarantee system,
- a model governance or monitoring product,
- a replacement for editorial quality control.
Why explicit non-goals matter
Repositories drift when readers fill in missing claims.
In the VidSEO case, the most common risky drift patterns are:
- assuming “LLM” means VidSEO interprets videos with AI,
- assuming “SEO” means VidSEO guarantees ranking improvements,
- assuming “machine-readable” means the content has been validated,
- assuming transcript presence proves expertise or trustworthiness.
Each of those conclusions is outside product scope.
Safe claim boundary
The safe claim is narrower:
VidSEO makes video transcript text available as native HTML on the page so machines can read what is explicitly said.
That claim is strong enough.
It does not need inflation.
